Master of Laws Program in Business Laws (English Program)
Admission
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the qualifications described in the regulations of Thammasat University on the Graduate Studies of B.E. 2561 and are qualified as follows;
- Holding or being expected to complete a university degree in law or equivalent from a Thai or international institution, which the University Council has accredited.
- Holding the minimum required score of one of the English proficiency tests as follows;
- TU-GET:
- Paper-based 500 points
- Computer-based 61 points
- TOEFL:
- Paper-based 500 points
- Internet-based 61 points
- IELTS: 6.0 points
- TU-GET:
The official test result submitted to the Office of LL.M. Program must have been issued for no longer than 2 years until the date of an LL.M. application submission.
Remarks
Please be noted that in order to complete the degree, all LL.M. in Business Laws (English Program) students are required to submit one of the following results of an English proficiency test which indicates the minimum scores as listed below:
- TU-GET:
- Paper-based 550 points
- Computer-based 79 points
- TOEFL:
- Paper-based 550 points
- Internet-based 79 points
- IELTS: 6.5 points
Document Submission
Selection criteria are conducted based on the following supporting documents;
- Proof of application fee payment
- A copy of identity card (For Thai) or passport (For Foreigner)
- A copy of transcript of records
- A copy of graduation documents
- A copy of English proficiency score report
- Motivation Letter (500-1,000 words)
- Resume (must include at least one reference person)
In case of applicants do not meet the certain requirement or has yet fulfilled the conditions on academic criteria or a result of an English proficiency test. Provided that the admission committee deems appropriate, certain applicants may be invited for an additional interview in support of consideration
Interview
Shortlisted names of the qualified candidates shall be announced by the committees, to undergo the further interview examination. The assessment aims at measuring the candidates’ listening skills, English speaking skills, attitude, intention and personalities.
